Report produced by the Small and Rural Charities Initiative whose goal was to better
understand the needs of small and rural charities, identify the issues they face, and find
out what the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) can do to help them meet their obligations.
The report highlights both the successes and challenges that were identified during community consultations. It also describes what the CRA is doing, or will do, to address the key issues identified in the report. The CRA is committed to the continued improvement of its tools and services so that all charities will have an easier time complying with their obligations.
